Water flows unpredictably, ink holds firm. My work lives between these extremes. I explore nature’s rhythms, the quiet tensions of life, and the inner landscapes of memory and longing. I work in watercolour and ink, each medium expressing a different emotional cadence — watercolour with its soft, unpredictable movement, ink with its precision and control. A brother once said our mother was like water, our father like fire; I now see how these elemental energies shaped my creative instincts. Guided by imagination rather than observation, I do not sketch from life. My process is immersive, letting the work lead me into unexpected spaces. Through the interplay of fluidity and structure, each piece becomes an exploration of connection, joy, and the subtle mysteries of being alive.
